Paul Epworth

Paul Epworth (born 24 July 1974 in London ) is a British music producer, musician and songwriter. From 2002-2004, Paul was a singer and guitarist of the band Lomax.

Life

Epworth is known for his remix work under the name of Phones. He began attention with his work on the Bloc Party song Banquet to win. Since then, he has provided remixes for New Order, U2, Sean Combs, Goldfrapp, Simian Mobile Disco, The Streets, Tom Vek, Death from Above 1979, Annie and Nine Inch Nails.

Beginning of 2006, Paul Epworth music under another pseudonym, Epic Man to produce. His debut single, More Is Enough, which he recorded with Plan B was the soundtrack for Need for Speed: ProStreet provided and was later at Epworth 's record label, Good & Evil Records, a subsidiary of 679 Recordings, released. It bears the name back Phones.

In 2004-2005, Epworth produced a number of publications that have been praised by critics, including Silent Alarm by Bloc Party and A Certain Trigger Maxïmo of Park, both of which were nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. He produced the debut album Made of Bricks by Kate Nash Foundations and wrote the music with. For this he was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award. He produced and wrote songs for and with Florence the Machines debut album, Lungs, including the Single Rabbit Heart ( Raise It Up ) along with the album Songs Howl, Cosmic Love, Hurricane Drunk and Blinding. In February 2010, Epworth won a BRIT Award / Music Producer 's Guild Award for " Producer of the Year ". He produced and wrote songs with Adele Rolling in the Deep ( from her album 21) and Skyfall. The latter the theme song of the movie was James Bond 007 - Skyfall. He was honored for both an Oscar and a Grammy Award for Best Original Song.

He worked for Adele, Cee- Lo Green, Florence the Machine, Plan B, Friendly Fires, Bloc Party, Primal Scream, The Rapture, Jack Peñate, Kate Nash and Maxïmo Park.
