Paul Forell

Paul Forell (* January 14, 1892; † August 2, 1959 ) was a German football player.

Forell began at Victoria Pforzheim and changed in 1909, according to other sources 1903 1 FC Pforzheim, where he played from 1910 in the first team; only exception was the season 1916/17 during the war, when he worked at Phoenix Mannheim. After the First World War, the Left Wing trained at the 1st FC Pforzheim from 1919 to 1921 under former national player Max Breunig. The Pforzheimer Club was in the time of Paul Forell, who until 1925 ( other indication: 1926) was active, one of the best teams in southern Germany, so 1920/21 champions in the district West and the South German Championship semifinalist and 1922/23, Master of Württemberg / Baden and finals participants in the south.

In the first home game of the German national team after the First World War, the Pforzheimer Left Wing was established on October 24, 1920 in a 1-0 against Hungary in the Berlin Grunewald stadium before 55,000 spectators.
