Paul Gross

Life

His father served in the Army, Paul Gross as well as in England and Germany grew along with his younger brother at many different places. Only in the 1970s, the family returned to Canada. After school, he studied acting at the University of Alberta, but left the university in 1980 to work as an actor. Later, however, he completed his studies successfully.

Paul Gross has worked as an actor, producer and screenwriter. For years he played in the Canadian television series Due South the lead role, making him a wide audience in Germany as well. In 2002 he made ​​his debut as a director with the film Men with Brooms, which he self-produced and of which he wrote the screenplay.
