Paul Hardy

Paul Jew Hardy ( born October 18, 1942) is an American politician. Between 1988 and 1992 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Louisiana.

Career

In 1960, Paul Hardy Cecilia High School graduated in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. Then he studied until 1965 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After a subsequent study of law at Loyola University in New Orleans and his admission to the bar he began in St. Martinville to work in this profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 1972 and 1976 he was a member of the Senate of Louisiana. Then he held 1976-1980, the Office of the Secretary of State of his state. In 1979, he narrowly failed in the governor primaries of his party. In the 1980s he moved to the Republicans.
