Paul Herman

Paul Herman ( born March 29, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actor who is best known for his portrayal of disreputable types.

He stepped in well-known films such as Once Upon a Time in America, At Close Range, Crazy Heart, Silver Linings Playbook and Analyze That in secondary roles. In the hit series The Sopranos, he played the supporting role of Peter " Beansie " Gaeta. In the Martin Scorsese film The Color of Money, Goodfellas and Casino he played small supporting roles or a minor role. In Crazy Heart Herman played the manager of Jack Greene ( Jeff Bridges) spent a singer. He was the owner of the Columbus Cafe along with Mikhail Baryshnikov. It was on Columbus Avenue near the Lincoln Center.
