Paul James (basketball)

Paul Julian James ( born September 11, 1964 in Leicester, England ) is an English basketball coach and former player. As a player and coach was actively James long time for the Tigers and its successor club Heat in the British Basketball League.

As a player, he won it three times in the League Cup " BBL Trophy" and twice the cup competition " National Cup". His coaching career began in the former England international at the Tigers. Only after the re-establishment of the franchise in 2005 as Heat in Guildford also presented a title wins. So James won as coach of the Heat all competitions in the BBL between 2007 and 2008 in each case once, where he was honored in 2007 as coach of the year the BBL. In 2009 he was the successor to Chuck Evans as coach of the Worcester Wolves and 2010 was provided as a coach for the English national team at the " FIBA Commonwealth Championships " at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, having previously been trained English youth national teams.
