Paul Klingenburg

Paul Klingenburg (* October 19, 1907 in Duisburg, † September 4, 1964 in Assmannshausen ) was a German water polo player.

Paul Klingenburg was goalie Duisburg swimming club of 1898. At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, he worked in six games with, among other things, during the final match against Hungary, which ended with 2:2. Hungary was due to the better goal gold medal, Germany won silver. Overall Klingenburg participated in 37 international matches for Germany.

After the Second World War Klingenburg took over with his wife Hedwig, the hotel his father- in Assmannshausen.
