Paul Laciga

Paul Laciga (born 24 November 1970 at Bern ) is one of the most successful Swiss beach volleyball player. He won twice the fifth place in the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 and Athens in 2004, was twice vice-champion in Marseille in 1999 and Berlin in 2005 and three times Swiss champion.

During several years Paul Laciga played along with his brother Martin. After the 2004 Summer Olympics, the brothers Laciga, Paul Laciga parted then played with Sascha Heyer. In 2007 he sang with Philip Gabathuler the international tournaments and with Jefferson Bellaguarda (BRA ) the national tournaments. Per press release was posted on Monday, June 4th, 2007, Posted that Paul Laciga (provisional) will again play with his brother Martin. They played together until the beach volleyball World Cup 2007.

This was once also the last international tournament by Paul Laciga. Since then, Paul has worked as Laciga studied business informatics in project management.
