Paul May

Paul May, actually Paul Ostermayr ( born May 8, 1909 in Munich, † February 25, 1976 in Taufkirchen (near Munich) ), was a German film director, script writer and producer of feature films.

Biography

The son of film producer Peter Ostermayr and his wife Olga, born Wernhard, turned after graduating from high school in Feldkirch also the world of the film. He attended the State School for Photography beings and worked in a lab.

From 1930 he worked as an editor, from 1935 as assistant director.
