Introduction
Paul McCartney's first solo project originated in 1966, when he was still a member of the Beatles. He composed the music for the feature film The Family Way. The same soundtrack was released in 1967. Was composed almost alone, performed, recorded and produced - After separation of the Beatles was released in 1970 the album McCartney that he - with a little help of his wife Linda McCartney. In February 1971 he published with Another Day / Oh Woman, Oh Why his first solo single. It was followed by the album Ram that came as a joint work of Paul and Linda McCartney in May 1971 on the market. For this album several singles were released. The most successful was the single Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey / Too Many People, the No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. reached and won a Grammy Award. In December 1971, the album Wildlife appeared. It was the debut album by Paul McCartney newly formed group Wings. The group, whose occupation changed frequently over time and remained stable only in the core with the members of Paul and Linda McCartney and Denny Laine, took a total of seven studio albums. The last Back to the Egg was built in 1979. Additionally, appeared in 1976, the live album Wings over America with photographs of the USA tour in the same year. In May 1980, appeared with the album McCartney II Paul McCartney's a return to the beginning of his solo career. Like 1970, he alone had played and produced the pieces. In 1981, the official dissolution of the Wings was announced. In the aftermath published until 2013 a further fourteen studio albums by Paul McCartney. The last date in 2013 under the title New. In addition to the studio albums released since 1990 ( Tripping the Live Fantastic ) regular live albums to McCartney's tours. Paul McCartney also worked as a classical composer, beginning with Paul McCartney's Liverpool Oratorio in 1991 appeared to date five classical works.
