Paul Reiser

Paul Reiser ( born March 30, 1957 in New York, New York ) is an American actor.

Biography

Reiser graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City and received his BA at Binghamton University, where he focused on music (especially on the piano and composing ). He has starred in numerous theater productions with his university.

He started his career as a stand- up comedian. Through his role in James Cameron's Aliens 1986 he entered the wider public consciousness. But also by the he helped develop television series Mad About You (English: Mad About You ), in which he starred opposite Helen Hunt a major role, he became a regular guest on the national television. The series was ultimately so successful that Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt in the final season in 1999, each got 1 million dollars per episode. For the series, he contributed the title song Final Frontier, which he recorded with Don Was. He makes a name for himself as a writer. To date, he has three books called Couple Hood, Baby Hood ( German: "A Father's Day is more beautiful than the other" ), and "Family Hood" written. The books were for weeks on the bestseller lists in the USA.

Since August 21, 1988, he is married to Paula Ravets, with whom he has two sons and lives in Los Angeles.
