Paul Reiter

Paul Reiter is a British scientist and professor of medical entomology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He was known for his criticism of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC ) to a wider audience.

After 22 years of research at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC ), most recently as Deputy Director dengue fever, Reiter was appointed to the newly created Department of Medical Entomology at the Institut Pasteur in 2003. He is a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society.

In public, Reiter argues that the term tropical diseases is incorrect:
