Paul Robinson (footballer born December 1978)
Paul Peter Robinson ( born December 14, 1978 in Watford) is an English footballer. Since 2012, the defender is at Birmingham City under contract.

Watford FC
Robinson was educated in the youth department of FC Watford, before joining the senior squad in 1996. His debut in professional football, he was on 29 October 1996 against Luton Town at the age of 17 years. In the following years he received regular appearances in the men's team. In the season 1997/98 he was mostly a reserve player. Often, he came only to be used when the team was changed from the usual 3-5 2 system to a 4-4-2. At the end of this season was the Football League Second Division Watford are recovered and increased to the next higher league. From then on, the team played more often with four defenders and Robinson played himself into the starting eleven. On 29 April 1999, he made headlines when he in the game against Port Vale his opponent Stewart Talbot by hard getting broke his leg. West Bromwich Albion
On October 18, 2003, he made his debut in the dress of the Baggies against Norwich City. His first goal for West Bromwich in April 2005 against Aston Villa earned him the prize awarded by the fans for a gate of the year for West Bromwich. In June 2006, the return to Watford FC should be fixed, but this failed. Shortly thereafter, Robinson signed a new three -year contract. On 28 October 2006, the defender appeared negative again in the media, when he broke Birmingham City's captain Damien Johnson by an elbow check the jaw. For the season 2007/ 08 he should switch to Wigan Athletic to replace the transferred after Everton Leighton Baines, but Robinson came through the medical examination. Robinson ran three times for the U21 England.
