Paul Rudolf

Paul Rudolf ( * December 6, 1892, † unknown) was a Swiss rower, the 1920 Olympic champion in the four with coxswain.

Paul Rudolf from Grasshopper Club Zurich joined the first European Championship after the First World War in 1920 in Macon with the Swiss four in the cast Willy Brüderlin, Max Rudolf, Paul Rudolph, Hans Walter and helmsman Paul dust and won ahead of the boats from Belgium and France. This means that Switzerland had won in the ten years since 1911 all European championships in this class of boat. At the Olympic Games in 1920 the boats from the United States, Norway and Switzerland were in the final over, the Zurich won with four seconds ahead of the Americans, the Norwegians were back for another four seconds. At the European Championships 1921 in Amsterdam Émile Albrecht rowed for Hans Walter and won with Brüderlin and Rudolf another European title for Switzerland, the name of the helmsman is not known.
