Paul Rutherford (trombone player)

Paul William Rutherford ( * February 29, 1940 in Greenwich, London; † 5 August 2007) was a British trombonist who has worked in the field of jazz and free improvisation.

Rutherford originally played saxophone and switched to trombone. During the 1960s he was teaching acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
