Paul Sharits
Paul Jeffrey Sharits ( born February 7, 1943 in Denver, † July 8th, 1993 at Buffalo ) was an American artist and filmmaker.
Life
Sharits was born in Denver and graduated from the University of Denver 's School of Art BFA in painting. In the 1960s he began 16mm films to work. He belonged to the movement of experimental film.
Paul Sharits was with several films participant in Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972 in the Department of Individual mythologies represent New American Cinema and at the Documenta 6 in 1977 as an artist: film, movie actor.
He died on 8 July 1993.
