Paula Fudge

Paula Fudge (born Yeoman, born March 30, 1952) is a former British long-distance runner.

In 1978 she won starting for England about 3000 m at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton. At the European Athletics Championships in Prague, she was about the same distance Eighth.

At the World Cross Country Championships 1979 in Limerick, she came to 17th place and won with the English team bronze. 1981 was followed by a 28th place finish at the Cross Country World Cup in Madrid. On 13 September of the same year she worked with 15:14,5 min to set a world record in the 5000m.

In 1982, she won at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Milan bronze over 3000 m and took a 14th place finish at the Cross Country World Cup in Rome again with the English team bronze. In the fall, she won the 20 km from Paris.

In 1985, she finished at the Cross Country World Cup in Lisbon the 56th place and won the Columbus Marathon. After a fifth place in the London Marathon in 1986 she qualified in 1987 with a fourth place in London for the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Rome, in which she broke in on the 17th rank. Shortly thereafter, she won the Greifenseelauf.

In 1988, she was a third party in each case at the Great North Run and the Chicago Marathon.

In 1972, she was German champion in the 3000 m, 1983 m and 5000 1978 and 1982 British champion in the 3000 m.
