Paulatuk
Paulatuk ( "place of coal " ) is a municipality in the Northwest Territories. It is situated at a height of 15 m at the Darnley Bay on the Amundsen Gulf. The municipality is located in Tuktut - Nogait National Park. In the census in 2006, the site had 294 inhabitants, of whom 265 were Inuit. Languages spoken English and Inuvialuktun.
The municipality can not be reached by road, but there is an airport which is served by Air from Inuvik Aklak three times a week. In the ice-free period of the place is approached by Northern Transportation Company Limited from Hay River from once to the ship.
