Pauline Parmentier

Pauline Parmentier ( born January 31, 1986 in Cucq ) is a French tennis player.

Career

At age six, Pauline Parmentier began with her family playing tennis. In 2000, she completed her first professional match on the ITF Women's Circuit.

Her first title on the WTA tour, she secured in 2007 in Tashkent, as they could defeat Wiktoryja Azarenka in straight sets. In her second WTA tournament victory they defeated in 2008 in Bad Gastein, the Czech Lucie Hradecká smooth with 6:4 and 6:4.

2008 Parmentier was for France at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing at the start. She lost her first round match against the set at position 16 Slovakian Dominika Cibulková with 1:6 and 5:7.

Since 2008 she takes for her country in the Fed Cup, so far only in singles. Four wins, seven defeats over there (end of 2013).
