Paulino Bernabe Senior

Paulino Bernabe (father) ( born July 2, 1932 in Madrid, † May 10, 2007 ibid, full name Paulino Bernabé Almendáriz ) was a Spanish luthier.

Life

Paulino Bernabé initially received a musical education with Daniel Fortea and then learned with José Ramírez III, the art of guitar-making. After founding his own first workshop in 1969, he developed a unique design and innovative edge system in the interior of his instruments. Since the beginning of the 80s until shortly before his death in 2007 Bernabe worked with his son born in 1960 Paulino, who took over the workshop of his father.

Paulino Bernabe were made ​​instruments and are played by internationally renowned guitarist, including Narciso Yepes, Johanna Beisteiner and Alexandre Lagoya.
