Paulo da Palma

Paulo da Palma ( born March 18, 1965 in Nordhorn ) is a retired German - Portuguese football player.

Career

Since Palma began his career at Eintracht Nordhorn. In 1986 he moved to Oberliga VfB Oldenburg, with whom he ascended to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1990. Later he occupied at VfL Osnabrück, for which he completed 34 second division games. At the height of his career he played with VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga. He brought it there in ten games, in addition to 14 second division games.

Later obligations followed at the 1 FC Saarbrücken and FC 08 Homburg.

Since Palma was known for his rough style of play, which was also reflected in a high number of cards. In ten league games he received seven yellow cards. In total, there were 105 games in the first two Bundesligen 45 yellow, three red-yellow and two red cards.

Life

Paulo da Palma is married and has a son. He works as a physical therapist. From 2005 to 2010 he was employed by the SV Sandhausen.
