Paulo Fonseca

Paulo Alexandre Rodrigues Fonseca ( born March 5, 1973 in Nampula, Mozambique ) is a retired Portuguese footballer, and now works as a football coach.

He was on June 10, 2013 to March 5, 2014 football coach of FC Porto. Paulo Fonseca grew up near Lisbon and began his footballing career with FC Barreirense (1991-1995). Further stations as players were Leca, Belenenses Marítimo, Vitoria Guimaraes and most recently at CF Estrela Amadora (2000-2005).

Through various stations he came as a coach in the 2012/2013 season of the Portuguese Liga for FC Paços de Ferreira. With the team he reached the third place in the championship.
