Paulo Radmilovic

Paul " Raddy " Radmilovic ( born March 5, 1886 in Cardiff, † 29 September 1968 Weston -super- Mare) was a British water polo player and swimmer who won four gold medals at the Olympic Games.

Radmilovic, whose father came from Macedonia and his mother from Ireland, was born in Wales. He denied international swimming and water polo competitions at the age of 16 years. In 1906 he took part in the unofficial Summer Olympics in Athens. He was about 100 m freestyle and fourth in the 400m freestyle fifth.

At the Summer Olympics in London in 1908 Radmilovic was one of the stars of the event. With the UK water Ballern who dominated the sport in the early 20th century, he won the gold medal.
