Paulo Thiago

Paulo Thiago ( born January 25, 1981 full name Paulo Thiago Alencar Artunes ) is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter. His combat balance was after his fight against Diego Sanchez 23 October 2010 thirteen wins and three defeats. He lives in Brasilia and is a member of the military police special forces unit BOPE.

Thiago, Judo, Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu, boxing and Muay Thai practiced, began his career in July 2005, the Brazilian organizers Storm Samurai. In October 2006, he won the tournament once held Gran Prix Planaltina. Finally wins at Conquista Fight and Jungle Fight he arrived at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he took in the welterweight division. Making its debut at UFC 95 in February 2009 he beat Josh Koscheck by TKO in the first round and was honored with the bonus prize money for Knockout of the Night. Then he suffered his first defeat when he was defeated at UFC 100 in July of Jon Fitch on points. After following victory over Jacob Volkmann at UFC 106 Thiago Mike Swick defeated at UFC 109, which was rewarded with a bonus for Submission of the Night. At UFC 115, he defeated then Martin Kampmann. Even in his fight against Sanchez Diego, which went to the UFC 121 over the full number of rounds, Thiago was defeated, but he got together with his opponent the bonus for Fight of the Night.
