Pave Maijanen

Pave Maijanen (aka: Pekka Juhani Maijanen; born September 3, 1950 in Lappeenranta ) is a Finnish pop and rock musician. In his long career he worked as a singer, guitarist, electric bassist, keyboardist, drummer, songwriter and music producer.

Since the 1960s, he played in rock and pop bands. 1975 appeared his first solo single called Fever. With his own rock band Mistakes he released two successful albums in the early 1980s. With Aiaiai released in 1983 disco single by him. As the winner of the Finnish preliminary decision, he was allowed to compete in Malmo the Euro Vision Song Contest 1992. There he landed with the pop song Yamma Yamma in last place.
