Pavel Annenkov

Paul Vasilyevich Annenkov (Russian Павел Васильевич Анненков; * 19 Junijul / 1 July 1813greg in Moscow, .. .. † Märzjul 8 / 20 March 1887greg in Dresden) was a Russian landowner, journalist and editor of the works of Alexander Pushkin ( 7 vols, Petersburg 1855-57 ), with notes and materials for his biography, which he edited a period of time itself.

On his long trips abroad learned Annenkov also know Karl Marx, who wrote to him from Ixelles out on December 28, 1846 a letter ( MEW 4, 547-557 ), in which he discussed a then current published book of Pierre Joseph Proudhon.
