Paveletskaya (Koltsevaya Line)

Paveletskaya (Russian Павелецкая, pronunciation? / I ) is a metro station on the Ring Line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened as part of the first phase of the line on 1 January 1950.

General

The name is derived from the Paveletskaya Paveletskaya Station, is located a standing nearby train station, are handled ( for example, to Lipetsk ) with trains in certain areas of Central and Southern Russia. Paveletskaya is also the name of the also located there subway station of "green" line, which includes a direct transfer possibility exists. Unlike the latter has Paveletskaya - Koltsevaya but does not have direct access to the reception hall of the station. Instead, the only access to the station is in a Vestibülgebäude on the inner side of the Garden Ring. To the north it is close to the historic quarter of Samoskworetschje, there is also a transfer possibility of the few tram lines that still operate in the historical center of Moscow.

From its center a relatively long passage leads right below the tracks to the station of Samoskworezkaja line. Architecture

The central platform is visually separated by two rows pylon into three parts. The pylons are cubical with additional decorative white marble pillars at the four corners. The floor was composed of black and gray granite patterns.
