Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece

Paul ( Pavlos ) of Greece from the House of Schleswig -Holstein -Sonderburg- Glücksburg ( born May 20, 1967 in Athens), until the abolition of the Greek monarchy by the military junta under Georgios Papadopoulos 1973 was Crown Prince of Greece in exile. In Denmark, its official address is still " His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, Prince of Denmark".

Paul is the eldest son of the former King Constantine II of Greece and his wife Anne- Marie, daughter of King Frederik IX. of Denmark and his wife Ingrid of Sweden. Since his parents in 1967 after a military coup went into exile, he grew up in Rome ( 1967-1973 ) and then in London.

In Rome he was taught by private tutors. In London he attended from 1976 to 1984, the Hellenic College in London, where he made also his high school diploma. From 1984 to 1986 he was a student at the Armand Hammer United World College of the American West and earned an International Baccalaureate there. He spent the next four years as a lieutenant in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In 1990 he took a degree in international relations and economics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC on. In 1995 he completed his studies with a master's degree.

From 1995 to 1997 worked at a company that deals with hedge fund management. He is the chairman in front of several charitable foundations.

Marriage and descendants

In 1992 he met Marie -Chantal, daughter of American billionaire Robert Warren Miller, know. The marriage took place in London on 1 July 1995. The marriage produced five children:
