Pavonis Mons

Pavonis Mons is a shield volcano on Mars, which was named in 1973. He is on the equator and is the average of the three Tharsis Montes in the Tharsis region. The extinct volcano has a diameter of about 300 kilometers and an altitude of about 12 kilometers from its environment.
