Paweł Pośpiech

Paul Pospiech, Polish: Paweł Pośpiech, ( born January 22, 1878 in Kokoschütz, † March 23, 1922 at Pless ) was a Polish Catholic priest and member of the German Reichstag.

Life

Pospiech attended elementary school and high school in Kokoschütz in Ratibor and made in 1899, the final examination. From 1899-1902 he studied Catholic theology in Breslau and in 1903 he was ordained a priest. He was an honorary member of the Polish Trade Association, Deputy Präses the Federal Polish singing societies of Upper Silesia and the Supervisory Board of Bank Ludowy in Katowice. Later he was Vicar and chaplain in Katowice. He was a member of the Reichstag from 1912 to 1918 for the constituency of Opole 7 ( Pless, Rybnik ) and the Polish faction, after the double- elected in the general election of deputies Mathias Brudzewo - Mielzynski had not accepted the mandate.
