Paweł Thomik

Paul Thomik (born 25 January 1985 in Zabrze, Poland ) is a German footballer of Polish origin who is under contract with the third division side VfL ​​Osnabrück since the 2012/13 season.

Career

Clubs

Thomik began his career as a football player at the Westphalian club FC Sürenheide. About Westfalia Wiedenbrück and FC Gütersloh 1999, he moved to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich. There he won the 2001 both the German Junior B Championship as well as the day after the German A- Junior Championship. The latter, he also won in 2002 and 2004 and is the only player to have won this three times; the first title in 2001 he was still in the B- youth - age. In the season 2004/ 05 he made his debut in the amateur team of FC Bayern in the Regionalliga Süd and denied there 28 of 34 league games in which he scored three goals. In summer 2005, he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 40 games, he scored three goals for Unterhaching. After the descent of SpVgg Unterhaching in 2007 he left the club and signed for newly promoted second division VfL Osnabrück a two year contract. After the end of his commitment to VfL Thomik was briefly without a club, before he winter break 2009/10 second division 1 FC Union Berlin joined. In the "Iron ", he was first in the starting lineup and played two games over the full distance before he was sidelined by an ankle ligament injury. Overall, Paul Thomik played 25 games for the second division Union Berlin and scored 1 goal. National
