Payerne District
The District de Payerne ( German: District Payerne) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Capital was Payerne. The District was ( German: circles) in the Cercle Granges- près- Marnand, Payerne and Grandcour divided.
The District was composed of 18 municipalities, was 107.74 km ² and counted 14'830 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
On 1 July 2006, the merger of the municipalities Rossens VD, Sédeilles and Villarzel the new community Villarzel legally (Official community directory of Switzerland Announced changes since the mutation Message No. 72 of May, 2004, issue of March 7, 2005. ) Was
