Payerne District

The District de Payerne ( German: District Payerne) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Capital was Payerne. The District was ( German: circles) in the Cercle Granges- près- Marnand, Payerne and Grandcour divided.

The District was composed of 18 municipalities, was 107.74 km ² and counted 14'830 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
