Target group and issues

Was it in the first edition 4/1991 in the subtitle nor solely to the magazine for professional PC users, so it became over the years the test magazine. Thus, the focus was on independent testing in their own laboratories.

A further focal point of PC Professional manifested in headings practice and technology. These included instructions and tip - collections as well as technical background article.

Whether motherboards, chipsets, graphics cards, TFT monitors, digital cameras, projectors, printers, and multifunction devices, hard disks or DVD burner, system, security or multimedia software, web services or online access and Internet hardware - the pcpro Leaders tested almost everything in our own laboratory.

Much attention in November 2004, the first Warflying test: With a small plane, the tester went to the Munich air space in order to check how secure the Wireless LANs are tracked. The horrific realization that only 124 nets were well secured by WPA, 1,849 nets were secured only weakly with easy knackbarer WEP and 2,049 nets were not secured at all.

PC Professionally last appeared in three versions: without cover CD, with cover CD and booklet DVD.
