Peace of Nikolsburg

The Peace of Mikulov on December 31, 1621 ended the first battle clashes between Bethlen Gábor, prince of Transylvania, and Emperor Ferdinand II

After the Battle of White Mountain (8 November 1620) was the imperial troops managed to penetrate into Slovakia and recover the lost Bethlen Gábor to zones. Ferdinand II then dictated the Peace of Mikulov ( Mikulov ). Bethlen Gábor had to do without the Hungarian crown and all the conquered territories, as compensation he was allowed to areas in eastern Slovakia and Hungary in northeast add his principality.
