Pebble (watch)
Pebble is a Smart Watch with e- paper display .. The clock was announced in April 2012 on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter.com and is sold since 23 January 2013. Pebble can be connected via Bluetooth 4.0 with a smartphone. You can by vibration alert message text or alarm, for example, an incoming call, inform emails (Gmail or IMAP), calendar entries, Facebook messages, Twitter and weather warnings.
Individualization
The Software Development Kit can be used freely to create, for example, their own apps for the clock. Compatibility and technical data
Pebble is compatible with all Android devices running Android 2.3 and the iPhone 5, 4S / 4, 3GS and iPod touch with iOS 5.0. The clock is 5 inches deep and 3 inches wide. The low-power, transflective LCD display Sharp LS013B7DH01 with a resolution of 144 × 168 pixels promises to relatively long battery life (according to manufacturer 5-7 days), which make it unlike comparable watches that display the contents permanently.
Planning and delivery

The delay was due, among other things, that the origin plan provided only a production quantity of 1,000 pieces. However, more than 85 times the amount of the original plan was pre-ordered through the Kickstarter campaign. The new plan called for a production speed of 15,000 copies per week.
