15 km ( 3 upper and 12 km underflow) to flow in a circle on Estonian Valga, 16 km within Latvian territory ( middle reaches ).

The catchment area is 229 km ².

The Pedeli / Pedele rises in sea Kadastiku järv, about five kilometers south of the Estonian village Koorküla in a wooded area. It opens ten kilometers from Valga away into the river Väike Emajögi ( German Small Embach ). The Pedeli is the largest left tributary of the Little Embachs.

Larger tributaries are the rivers Riisupi oja, Rautina oja oja and Männiku.
