Pedralbes Circuit
The Circuit de Pedralbes ( Spanish Circuito de Pedralbes ) was a 6.316 km long formula 1 race track in Barcelona.
History
The course was opened in 1946 in the western outskirts of Barcelona. It contained wide streets and broad, sweeping curves. Drivers and spectators loved the course. Beginning of the 50s twice the Spanish Grand Prix Formula 1 took place here. But after the Le Mans tragedy of 1955, the security measures were tightened in motorsport and the Pedralbes Circuit was home to no more motorsport events.
