Pedro Infante

José Pedro Infante Cruz, better known as Pedro Infante ( born November 18, 1917 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, † April 15, 1957 in Mérida, Yucatán ) was a Mexican actor and singer. With Pedro Armendáriz, and Jorge Negrete, he was one of the most famous male stars of the " golden age " of Mexican film.

Life

The parents of Pedro Infante were Delfino Infante García, and Refugio Cruz Aranda. He was the third of fifteen siblings, of which only nine reached adulthood.
