Pei Songzhi

Songzhi Pei (Chinese裴 松 之; * 372 in Yancheng, † 451) was a Chinese historian. He hailed from the present-day Shanxi province. Later he went to the court of the ancients Song Dynasty, where he worked on the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou. He tried to grasp the geographical indications of the work in more detail, and also corrected some historical facts after the submission of other reports from that time. In addition, he said the chronicles in a comment. His research made ​​the work to a self-contained, reasonably reliable evidence of the Three Kingdoms period.
