Peka Peka
Peka Peka, also Pekapeka, is a sparsely populated coastal town on the Kapiti Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
At the 2001 census it had a population of 195 inhabitants, which represents an increase of 35.4 % or 51 residents since the last census in 1996.
It is located near the State Highway 1 and the North Iceland Main Trunk Railway main line between Waikanae and Te Horo.
Peka Peka became famous after there appeared an emperor penguin named "Happy Feet".
