Pelagonius

Pelagonius was a Roman veterinarian of the 4th century. Before 400 AD, he wrote his Ars veterinaria, wherein he talks about the treatment of animals, especially of horses, wrote. Also superstitious spells were included therein, the Marcellus Empiricus later took over and Vegetius used. A source of Pelagonius was columella.
