Pelekas

Pelekas (Greek Πέλεκας ( m. sg. ) ) Is a village in western Greek island and municipality of Corfu. It belongs to the municipality Parelii ( Δημοτική ενότητα Παρελίων ) and counts 410 inhabitants ( as of 2011). Tourists can observe on a single dedicated viewing platform on the top of a nearby hill the sunset, as it already Kaiser Wilhelm II, from 1907 owner of Achillion, regularly did. For this reason, this area is known as the Emperor 's throne.

Pelekas is also the name of the corresponding village (930 inhabitants), to which also the following villages and settlements include:
