Pema Rigdzin, 1st Dzogchen Rinpoche

Rigzin Pema (Tibetan padma rig 'dzin, * 1625, † 1697 ) was a Tibetan minister of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. He is the founder of the Dzogchen Monastery in Garzê (Sichuan ) - the first Nyingma monastery in the region of Kham - and first Dzogchen Rinpoche.
