Penama Province

The Penama province is an island region of the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. It is located south of also counting to Vanuatu provinces of Torba, Sanma and east of north of Malampa.

As with all ( of the six ) Provinces of Vanuatu is derived the name from the name of the Penama located in the region of the main islands or island groups here from Pentecôte, Ambae and Maewo, from.

The province has about 26,500 inhabitants, with a land area of 1,198 km ². The provincial capital Saratamata lies to the east of Ambae.
