Pencaitland

Pencaitland is a village in the Scottish Unitary Authority East Lothian. It is about 20 km east of Edinburgh on the River Tyne, which separates the town into an eastern and a western part. In 2001 Pencaitland recorded 1566 inhabitants. South of the village produces Founded in 1825, Glenkinchie Distillery whiskey. It is part of the international group Diageo. At the western end of Pentcaitland a large malt house is operated.
