Pendragon is a British neo- prog band.

History

Pendragon was founded in 1978 under the name " Zeus Pendragon " by the singer and guitarist Nick Barrett. However, the part of witnesses " ' s fell off before the first shots. After it had been in the early days of the band some personnel changes, the occupation from 1986 remained unchanged. Only in 2006, replacing Joe Crabtree the original drummer Fudge Smith, who in turn was replaced in 2008 by Scott Higham.

To celebrate its 30th anniversary in autumn 2008 Pendragon went on an extensive European tour that took them for five concerts in Germany. In 2011, the date last studio album Passion, which again was followed by an extensive European tour was released.

Style

The music of Pendragon is dominated by the guitar playing and the emotional vocals Nick Barrett. In the course of over 30 years of band history, the style of the band has changed: Were the first albums still clearly influenced by Neo -Prog and bands like Marillion, so AOR and New- art-rock influences were added in the later stages.
