Pengiran Anak Saleha

Raja Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Isteri ( born October 7, 1946 in Brunei Town), born Saleha Mohamed Alam is by appointment of her husband as Hassanal Bolkiah Sultan of Brunei since 1967 Queen of Brunei Darussalam. She is known as the "Queen Saleha ." She is known as " Raja Isteri " the first wife of the Sultan and thus mother of the heir apparent.

Childhood and Education

Anak Saleha was the daughter of Pengiran Anak Alam and Mohamed Pengiran Anak Besar. She enjoyed school education in the palace school of Istana Darul Hana in Brunei Town (now Bandar Seri Begawan ). She completed their education by 1965 at the Royal school " Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri ".

Marriage and descendants

Saleha married Hassanal Bolkiah, the then Crown Prince of Brunei on 29 July 1965 in an arranged marriage. You and the Sultan are direct cousins, her father and his mother were siblings.

Queen Saleha and the Sultan have six children together:

• Crown Prince Al- Muhtadee Billah ( born February 17, 1974)
• Prince Abdul Malik (born 30 June 1983)
• Princess Rashidah ( born July 26, 1969)
• Princess Muta - Wakkilah ( born October 12, 1971)
• Princess Majeedahhgh gess Majeedah (born 16 March 1976)
• Princess Hafizah (born 12 March 1980)

Tasks

When Queen Saleha of Brunei takes many social tasks. She is Chair of numerous women's organizations and is dedicated mainly to the promotion of women and child protection. The nature reserve is also her heart.
