Pengshui Dam

The Pengshui Dam is an arch dam on the Wujiang in Wulong county, Chongqing province in China. The dam powered a 1750 MW hydroelectric power plant with water. This has five 350 MW Francis turbines and generators. Construction on the dam began in September 2003 and the hydroelectric plant was operational in 2008.
