Pennocrucium was at today's Water Eaton in southern Staffordshire, 12 miles from the port city Uxacona. By Pennocrucium the important Roman road Watling Street led from England to the northwest.

History

Pennocrucium was built in the 2nd century AD The city was an important junction on the Watling Street.
