Pepin County, Wisconsin

Pepin County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. In the census in 2010, the County had 7469 inhabitants and a population density of 12.4 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Durand, which was to Miles Durand Prindle, an early settler in the area, named.

History

The Pepin County was formed in 1858 from parts of Dunn County. It was named after the French conquerors Pierre and Jean Pepin you Chardonnets.
